Title: Optimizing Downstream Processing for Next-Generation Vaccine Development
Abstract
Advanced vaccine technologies such as viral-vector based vaccines and novel mRNA lipid nanoparticle systems, demand optimized processes with increased yield, high purity levels and consistent scale-up, particularly as they transition from preclinical development to clinical trials.
Chromatographic purification is a critical step in concentrating target molecule and reducing process and product-related impurities. This session will explore the application of monoliths in chromatographic purification, offering insights into optimizing downstream processes for various molecules, including nucleic acids (like pDNA and mRNA), lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) and viruses.
To support process development, characterise product and ensure batch-to-batch consistency in manufacturing, innovative solutions utilizing PATfix pDNA, mRNA and LNP analytical platform will be presented, showcasing how they enhance the purification process and support the scale-up of vaccine production.
Join us to gain a comprehensive understanding of the latest advancements in downstream processing and analytics, and learn how these techniques are paving the way for safer and more effective vaccines.
