The CIMac r-Protein G Analytical Columns are designed for rapid and reliable HPLC monitoring and quantitation of immunoglobulins, specifically mouse and human IgG, making them ideal for process analytical technology (PAT). Utilizing recombinant Protein G from E. coli, these columns are optimized for purifying IgG by binding to the Fc portion of the antibody. Unlike Protein A, Protein G effectively binds the human IgG3 subtype, which is not recognized by Protein A.
