- AAV Binding at neutral or closer to neutral pH compared to QA-based columns: Multimodal properties of PrimaT allow binding of AAV in neutral or closer to neutral pH values compared to QA-based columns.
- Allows separation of different AAV subpopulations: Separation is not exclusively based on charge differences but exploits H-bond and metal chelating properties. This usually leads to separation of various AAV and product related impurity elution peaks.
- Endotoxin Removal: Allows at least 5 log of endotoxin removal
